Job Title: Governess / Tutor (Early Years)
Location: Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking a nurturing, engaging, and experienced Governess/Tutor to support the early development of a 2-year-old child in a home-based setting. This role is ideal for someone passionate about early years education and able to create a structured yet fun, play-based learning environment.
Working Hours:
* Start: 9:00
* Finish: 1:00 PM
* (Child naps approximately 1:00–3:00 PM)
Responsibility:
* Plan and deliver age-appropriate educational activities
* Support early learning including language development, reading readiness, and basic numeracy
* Create engaging, play-based learning experiences (no screen time permitted)
* Encourage curiosity, creativity, and independence through structured guidance
* Incorporate a blend of EYFS, Reggio Emilia, and Montessori-inspired approaches
* Keep the child actively engaged through meaningful activities and routines
* Work alongside an existing nanny in a collaborative manner
Requirements:
* Proven experience in early years education or similar role
* Strong understanding of child development (toddler stage)
* Creative, energetic, and patient approach
* Ability to structure activities while maintaining a fun and nurturing environment
* Arabic language skills are a plus (not essential)
Salary:
* AED 100–150 per hour (depending on experience)
* Exceptional candidates may be considered for higher rate.
